Earth Shadow is a small space for hire for business owners & community groups. It is located on a private property.
It is not suitable to hire for parties or loud events.
You must be a member of a booked event to enter the property.

2 Waldhorn Dr. Grindelwald. TAS.
(opposite the entrance to Tamar Ridge Winery)

Sun/Mon - closed
Tues: 8am - 5pm
Wed: 8am - 5pm
Thurs: 8am - 5pm
Fri: 8am - 5pm
Sat: 8am - 4pm

How do I book the hire space?
Email Jo with a brief description of your group/intended use & preferred dates and times, approximate number of people using the space and any other questions you might have.
I will respond within 24 - 48hrs.

Pricing:
Rates are decided on an individual booking basis.
Prices start at $55 per hour.
Basic hire includes:
Hire space with basic kitchen use only.
Single unisex all ability access toilet/changeroom.
8 cushioned chairs & additional x4 plastic molded chairs if required.
Basic tea, coffee, milk & wall mounted hot water urn are also included.
Access to small courtyard.
Discounted rate applies for all day bookings
Executive Groups
Additional costs for conference group bookings that require full furniture use, TV, data & internet etc.
About the Space:
Earth Shadow is a building nestled among the trees at the base of a unique rock formation on our property in Grindelwald. TAS.
The building is approx x in size.
Open area space (without kitchen & toilet)
is approximately 9m long x 6m wide
Eg. x12 person yoga space (x15 persons at a squeeze)
Eg. x 8 tables (1500mmx750mm)
It has a kitchen and single unisex accessible toilet/change room.
The space is fully air conditioned.
Plenty of lighting options. Choose to open up curtain areas for more natural light or tuck yourself away in complete privacy with an assortment of softer dimmable and mood lighting choices available.
Mod cons:
Yes we can accommodate your digital needs.
We have a large flat screen tv, with multiple data points and plenty of power point & USB access to charge various devices.
Internet & Mobile Phone coverage:
Starlink High Speed Internet is available
A Telstra Smart WiFi Booster has been added to the space to give you the best possible mobile range for the area.
Furniture Available:
x8 comfy cushioned chairs for smaller group gatherings.
x15 stackable molded chairs that suit our tables.
x8 tables (1500mmx750mm) - flip top & on wheels so they are easy to move around to suit your layout needs.
x1 rotating full length mirror & clothes hanger unit on wheels.
x1 small bamboo storage trolley on wheels
x1 small whiteboard on wheels
Kitchen:
A new kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave.
Two wall mounted ovens (please see special requests - chat with Jo to use the ovens)
A wall mounted instant boiling water dispenser.
Basic tea, coffee and milk are provided.
Toilet/Change room:
We have x1 unisex DDA approved accessible toilet room that doubles as a change room.
Outside:
Small outdoor courtyard area with table and chairs.
Parking:
Plenty of parking!
Follow the driveway over the little bridge and through the big trees. You will quickly see our property opens up to give you a generous parking area with plenty of room to turn around.
This includes accessibility right up to the door if required.
Please note: Earth Shadow is part of a private residence. You must be a member of a booked event to enter the property.

Noise and activity on our property.
We have done our best to make Earth Shadow as snug and quiet as possible.
You may hear or see:
Bonnie & Obi - our Miniature Schnauzers
Reggie - our rooster
Mr Meowgi - not our cat but he has been visiting us for years. Often spotted on the big rock (Tabby with white socks)
Highway noise.
General work and maintenance in and around the property.
Wildlife:
We have many wallabies & pademelons hiding out throughout the big rock and a number of bird families that call this area home.
You may hear or see:
Plovers (at nesting time in particular)
Native Hens (Turbo Chooks)
Ravens
Currawongs
White Goshawk
Pair of Wedge Tail Eagles
Kookaburras
Green Rosella's
Fairy wrens & many other small birds
